In the main hearing on 02/29/2016, Sarah was found guilty by the District Court in Cottbus of having committed theft in minor value. The sentence turned out to be unusually high: instead of the normally usual fine, she was sentenced to two months in prison. She appealed against the judgment of the district court.
In the public appeal hearing, interested spectators were exposed to strong entrance controls: personal data were noted and identity documents copied, police in civvies and Criminal Police were sitting in the audience.
On next Tuesday, the 22nd of March, there will be another trial in Cottbus, at 12:45am in the regional court. The trial will be public.
We meet at 12:15am directly in front of the court, Gerichtsstraße 3, to attend the trial and to show our solidarity to Sara!
Since the 22nd of February, our friend Sara is inprisoned – for that reason, people from LAUtonomia wrote an open letter to Sara, to make our thoughts towards her visible for you.

The occupation was visited on Sunday, the 13th March, by more than 30 people – families, journalists, local residents wanted to attain the forest festival. A Coffee-Point was located at the forest entrance, which was maintained te whole day by a supporter. There, the visitors could gather. In an bigger group, we entered the forest and walked to the occupation.

Last weekend, we set up a forest occupation close to the village Rohne, which is supposed to be bulldozed for the mine. Today our project goes public. At first, three platforms were built in the treetops of a group of ancient oaks, right next to the edge of the cleared area.
The occupation is an open space – we invite all of you warmly to live and fight there with us. Come around, move in, join in!
